Starting his career cleaning up hazardous sites, Mike steadily shifted from remediation of impacts to reducing and eliminating them. In his 17-year career, he has conducted hundreds of environmental assessments, written countless plans, developed compliance and sustainability programs for nationwide and global operations, created custom carbon calculators, evaluated and planned for impacts from climate change, and presented at conferences.  He has managed multi-discipline teams, led regional operations, and counseled corporate executives in strategic planning. Mike serves on the Advisory Board for SPARC, chairs the Board for the Green Chamber of the South, and partners with the Commercial Aviation Alternative Fuels Initiative (CAAFI).  Mike is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia, is 40-hour HAZWOPER certified, and has completed the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards course. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Masters of Business Administration with a dual concentration in finance and entrepreneurship from Georgia State University .
